In January 2006 WTE Fruitadvies was launched, designed to provide technical and managerial support on all aspects of apple and pear cultivation. Although its principal clients are professional fruitgrowers in the Netherlands, WTE Fruitadvies welcomes contracts from abroad.

Director Wouter van Teeffelen has over 17 years consultancy experience in the Dutch fruit business. This includes the position of Senior Advisor for DLV-team Fruitteelt (1988-1999), Senior Advisor Fruitteelt for AccoN, Accountants & Adviseurs (1999-2002) and Consultant Organic Fruit/Manager Organic Fruit Chain for Agro Eco Consultancy (2002-2005). He has training in both horticulture (BA, HAS-Den Bosch, 1987) and business administration (MSc, Erasmus University, Rotterdam 2001).
